Summary 25

Your journey to the Pass was uneventful and you discovered some titbits about Prince Hayk, who 'rules' the area as vassal to the Tsar. Unfortunately, your journey through the Pass was prevented by an ambush as a mysterious unknown agency blew away the side of the mountainside. However, when the smoke cleared things appeared not as bad as feared. Returning to the site, you discovered the broken body of one of the assailants, wearing a strange tunic, (quality) cloak and (very nice) boots. He did not keep them for long! You left WheatCEF to clear the Pass and went to investigate a mysterious ruin that had been uncovered in the slide. Of interest were a statue of a four-legged winged creature with a human/ dwarf face and platted beard/hair and a fortification. You decided to investigate the latter and found yourself trapped by a creature made of rock.

We return with you still trapped in the hold. You have slain the creature and searched the upper levels. Some chimneys upwards (part of the lighting system and maybe more) are controlled by too many snotlings (though now fewer!). Moving downwards you are about to be attacked by an unknown third party!

Lothar is outside having returned from informing the commanders of the initial discoveries.
