Summary 16

A rather inconsistent session saw both the barrow incident and the disappearance of Marius solved, albeit neither particularly satisfactory. In particular, poor Jakob succeeded in losing two fate points. The party teamed up with Kane, who was working as a muleskinner with the merchant convoy you were to travel with.

Eager to leave and continue on your journey, you spent four days travelling through dreary hamlets and villages. Still, it was nice to have a quiet period to recover somewhat. Buzenkov has shown his usefulness by helping deal with your many wounds. Obviously things were too good to stay this quiet, and stories of wild ogres and a raging bull proved all too true. The ogres were easily beaten off, but the bull caused rather more trouble. This was encountered whilst you were at a shrine to Mórr, which - you thought - was peculiarly stuck out here. Lothar was particularly heroic, whilst Jakob "went for help" and the beast was slain. It appeared to come from a room uncovered by a collapsed roof, which you investigated. A falx was found there, and after much discussion, Lothar took it.

The date is late on the 33^rd Pflugzeit, a holy day to Grungni. The Professor left Bechafen on mid-day 25^th and Kubel on the morning of the 27^th.

Brian has an insanity still to determine and the sword needs to be allocated, though it has already rejected Kain. Lothar and Jakob it accepted.
