Warhammer (WFRP)
Saturday AM & PM (2 & 2 Games):
Sunday AM & PM (2 & 2 Games):

24 Places available Sunday:
NOTE – ALL Warhammer games are to be BOOKED through Tim

UPDATE - There are 2 places left - Please contact Tim (above) for more details

Saturday AM (2 Games): [top]
Rat Pack (GM: Toby Pilling)
6 Places available:
A Grey Seer takes an interest when a top secret Clan Moulder research facility in the Vaults is captured by Goblinoids. That the place was run by a renegade Clan Skyre Warlock Engineer makes the situation all the more complex.

The players take the role of Clan Eshin Gutter Runners, tasked with infiltrating the complex to retrieve certain artefacts, individuals and information as directed by their inscrutable overseer.

But they are not just any Skaven. They are the surviving members of 'The Blessed Litter', originally composing of thirteen identical twin brothers. Wholly loyal to each other, they are trustworthy and can be relied upon to do a job well.

Unfortunately, all other Skaven fear, envy and despise them.

…And in the Darkness Bind Them (GM: Jude Hornburg)
6 Places available:
After the ancient vampire kingdoms of Lahmia and Strigos were destroyed, their survivors continued scheming in the shadows of Sigmar's Empire. With each passing century, the scattered vampires became ever more hateful and ambitious. Now, the time of reckoning is here. A great assembly of vampires has convened in the most unlikely of places; a remote Kislevite village. But unity is tenuous, for the vampires know the Age of a Thousand Thrones is nigh, and each one intends to claim a bloody reward for himself. Only the threat of a common enemy holds ambitions in check. When spies report that a powerful ring has resurfaced – a ring that once brought defeat upon the vampires of Lahmia – the vampires resolve to uncover the traitor in their midst. During the ensuing investigation, old rivalries are re-ignited...

The PCs in this scenario are vampires. Undead minions are handled abstractly and mostly off-screen. There might be a PC traitor.

Saturday PM (2 Games): [top]
Vondrik Hofflsson's Flying Circus (GM: Clive Oldfield)
6 Places available:
During the Incursion of Chaos a major contribution to the defence of the Dwarfholds of the World's Edge Mountains was made by the hero Vondrik and his magnificent Dwarfs in their flying machines. In the times since then, the enthusiasm for flight and the building of machines seems to have declined with the fortunes of the dwarfs.

But now a new enemy has come to the mountains. A bunch of fearless potential aviators must re enter Vondrik's lost hold and attempt to retrieve his contraptions in order to put down the new threat.

A v1-v2-ish game for PCs of all races.

Reservoir (small but vicious) Dogs (GM: Simon Crowe)
6 Places available:
Getting the loot is only the beginning...

>"Right, listen up lads. You’re all here because you all owe something to the Guvna’ and this is how you’re going to repay him. It’s simple - get in there, grab the swag and get out. Nice clean getaway. Then get back here and pay the Guvna’ his cut. Got it? Simple, right? What could possibly go wrong?"

A game of thieving, backstabbing and running from the law.

Sunday AM (2 Games): [top]
Really Miserable Adventure (GM: Robert Rees)
6 Places available:
"Vanya! I'm hungry"
"We're all hungry, old man. Be quiet."
"Vanya!"
"Shut up old man!"

Magnusstadt was built as a monument to the greatest emperor that ever ruled. The city was to contain everything that was great about the Empire and its history. Then came the great Chaos Incursion. Money and supplies stopped arriving, then the plague hit. The city started to die; looters ran wild in the streets. The food be gan to run out and then deserters began to arrive.

The Chaos Incursion may be over but as the snow falls the last survivors trapped in the monumental city must endure a Really Miserable Adventure just to survive an other day in the city.

The Six Points (GM: John Foody)
6 Places available:
Morrslieb stares balefully over Schoppendorf and the good citizens make the signs of their favoured gods to ward off its evil. However, a few celebrate the moon's presence for they know the conjunction of Erantoles approaches, a harbinger of the time of Tzeentch. In secrecy, the Cult of the Red Tentacle, led by the Red Magister, are working to ensure that this great time comes. A Grand High Priest of the Cult will soon arrive in Schoppendorf to lead the final ceremony.

You, as a member of the cult, are ready for the great rewards that will come your way when the ceremony is complete and your Lord, the Great Changer, arrives. Hail Tzeentch!

With four days to go until the Conjunction you join the other five members of the Cult to receive the orders of the Red Magister. However, you find the Red Magister dying, a knife between his ribs and his final words a warning - one of the six brethren is a traitor...

Sunday PM (2 Games): [top]
Barons, Bankers & Other Mean Bastards (GM: Fred Mari)
6 Places available:
Well, it's a job, ain't it? You used to be a bunch of misfits, freebooters, loose cannons and a great bunch. But, since you sorted that problem with Red Max, a Tilean banker made you an offer you couldn't refuse. Regular pay to take care of his bizness.

Well, it's a job, ain't it?

Nothing wrong with that. Puts food on the table. And it ain't back-breaking stuff. Mostly checking out geezers that either owe the Tilean or geezers that want to borrow from him. Like that new job... Checking out this Baron Hollenzen. Big wig. But how hard can it be?

A very classic WFRP adventure, low-key, low fantasy, down and dirty...

Resident Evil* – 2 (GM: Tim Eccles)
6 Places available:
You thought it was over? Secret bases under Altdorf. A plague that you couldn’t let out. A city on fire. And a strange disease that seems to follow a certain rather attractively lithe elfess around.

Well, this is Holly – TimCon – wood, baby! And it’s back!!

You have watched the film. You might even have trashed the base. But now you’re alone in a city, and there’s only one way out!

At a gaming table at TimCon. Released 24th May.

* Alignment being only a socially constructed concept, of course, and with no place in second edition.

Kult [top]
Sunday AM (1 Game):
UPDATE - 5 Places available:
NOTE – ALL Kult games are to be BOOKED through Gerald

Jamie’s dead. That really sucks (GM Lee)
5-6 players
The game is set in modern day West London.

It’s always the good ones who go first. I mean you didn’t really keep massively in touch with your old foster family - Christmas cards, Mothers’ Day stuff for Phyliss, Googling Jacqui now her modelling career seems to be taking off, but Jamie was a great guy. Funny, generous, great with the girls, fantastic footballer, never any attitude toward you and the other fostered guys like Jacqui had sometimes. You can’t not go to his funeral now you’ve been invited.

Anyway the food will be great, Phyliss will have been in the kitchen for days, just like old times growing up. Almost makes sitting through a Pentecostal service worth it.

So you’re going, and no doubt the other guys are too, not that you really keep in touch with them either. You’ve got the tickets, you’ll make nice, you'll be respectful and then you’ll come home and try a bit harder to stay in touch. And who knows? Jacqui may have thawed a little. Not that you’d take advantage of her brother being dead to make a move. That would be wrong.

Our heroes return to the foster home where they were raised for the funeral of their foster brother. There will be weeping and wailing and great Caribbean food. Then they’ll go back home and carry on with their lives.

Honest...

Cthulhu

Working for the Special Operations Executive, you are resisting the hellish Nazi menace using any means necessary. Those you work with, those you trust, all know that the ultimate price is worth paying if it stems the rising Nazi tide engulfing Europe. You will use whatever you have to, whoever you have to, go to any lengths: this is a war you simply can not afford to lose. Nothing is off limits, including the supernatural. You are developing a weapon that will devastate the Nazi horde. There is little time to ponder the deeper moral issues of the ultimate cost in using it.

1941 Cthulhu scenario, 4 - 6 Investigators required: pre-gen characters supplied.
(All levels of Cthulhu experience welcome, including none!)

PLEASE NOTE: This game is for Mature minded gamers only.

Zeppelins over Cairo (GM John) [top]
UPDATE 4 Places available:
Egypt 1936 - a lone survivor of the Harrington-Falken international archaeological expedition staggers out of the desert, telling a tale of treachery, madness and murder. As the unconscious American lies in his sick-bed, international tensions rise, with each country blaming the other for the disappearance of their 'best and brightest'. Angry telegrams fly between London and Paris, the Italian fleet sorties, steaming at full speed for Alexandria, and Zeppelins are dispatched from their base at Wilhelmshaven. The players are cast into this diplomatic maelstrom, on a mission of mercy. Can they discover the fate of Penny Harrington? Will they fall prey to the secret that tore apart the previous expedition?

What really lies under the desert sands? Is it worth killing for? Or dying for ...?

PLEASE NOTE: This game is for Mature minded gamers only.

Saturday PM (2 Games):
The Proposition (GM Max)
[top]
UPDATE 5 Places available:

Salvaging some sense of order for your life is all you can think about right now. Those you love are counting on you. This may be the strangest bunch of people you’ve ever got together with, but you’re all in this together, and that makes you powerful allies. You may not have a choice in what you are about to do, but you will be one of the few that determines how it all ends.

The son of Lord Cranmore was lost at Albuera and was feared dead, but Spanish guerrillas claim to have seen a British gentleman answering his description riding through the battlefield at night. A city standing alone in a world at war. A city of adventure, excitement, intrigue and danger... Distraught at the loss of his father, frustrated by the never ending battles, sickened at sending more troops to their deaths, one lord has decided to return home and tend to his people. To some it's a cause for celebration, to some a relief, to others an insult. All that is certain is that now is the time for heroes as the city of Dragonmouth enters a new era.

Set in the world of Dargon, Dragonmouth is a UK living campaign based on the Iron Heroes game rules. Every year players from all parts of the country take part in a collaborative plotline, holding malign evil at bay, battling dragons, destroying ravaging hordes and other aspects of a fantasy setting.

Iron Heroes is a variant system based on the OGL rules. Focusing on action and adventure, a character's talents and abilities determine their capabilities rather than their equipment. Magic in the world is a dangerous force and not trusted by many.

Welcome traveller to the city of Dragonmouth...

Please note that the scenario will be unique and not yet released, more information will be available closer to ShadowCon.
