Twilight descended, and the creatures of the night began to rise. Eric's ghoul brings news that the storm had lifted and that normal life is beginning to start afresh. The party think that today might be a good day to get out of Dodge, or Chicago as they call it.

Alas 'twas not to be. A herald has been despatched and a message left. Adrian, Eric and James have been summoned to attend a meeting of all Kindred in the Succubus Club, this very eve. With a low heart it's decided that they have to attend.

At the Succubus Club all manner of kindred are present, but none know what for. Adrian spots an old Gangel contact Stone, who is also none the wiser, but has been negotiating with Werewolves, so perhaps this is hat the meeting is for? Annabelle the Toreador primogen calls for silence and an uneasy hush descends. It seems that Prince Lodin, is dead. He gave his life for his City, while defeating the threat of the Werewolves. A new Prince is to be elected, from three candidates. Annabelle Tribelle (Toreador), Ballard (Ventrue) and Nicholi (Tremere). As Adrian, Eric and James are but visitors to this fare town and should therefore be of independent mind, they are to be given the great privilege to count the votes. They agree and so as not to be influenced, decided to leave the City and return in a week, when the votes will be cast.

On departure James on seeing a kindred who had slighted him, challenges Edwardo of the Giovanni to a duel. Edwardo agrees to dirty his hands and fight; for all or nothing. To unsure fairness and that neither antagonist hides any of their possessions from the other. Each agrees to a full itinerary of their possessions, to be carried out independently. The duel will take place after the new Prince has been elected, in a weeks time.

While returning to Gary, the party spots a stranger following them. The stranger turns out to be Stone. It seems that as Stone was also new to the City of Chicago, he is helping, the party with the election of the new prince , in a weeks time.

Eric finds his house in disrepair and that all his servants had been dispatched with much violence. Dust in the shape of a body is found in the basement, which appears to be that of Jessica. But as she cannot be contacted, this cannot be confirmed.

With a week to kill before the task of counting the votes the party returns to the ruins of The Creep Show. There they find in basement, a creature that calls itself a Succubus. The party ask many questions of this curious being though the mind of James. They are able to discover that the Succubus is very old and can hold a humanoid form every 50 years. In order to do so, it feeds upon emotions, any and every. But at present its only form is a mass of blood.

The pervious owners of The Creep Show, the Hunters. Kept the Succubus a prisoner, in its human form. When The Creep Show burnt down it reverted back to the form it is currently in. The party also find out, that the Kindred have a pact to protect the Succubus and that the Nosferatu may also be on the trail of the Succubus, though they may not know exactly what they are looking for.

The party removes the bloody substance that is the Succubus, with plans to feed it emotions from the up and coming meeting in Chicago. Which as the week draws to a close, they make plans to return to. But things have changed, Annabelle has disappeared and adds to the growing number of vanishing kindred. Is the late Lodin one of these?
