Various guest turn up with their special invitations for the party of the year at the Sigel. There is tight security on the door, as no one without an invitation is aloud in. But a few exceptions are made. Drinks are freely available, for those that want to partake. But nothing much happens until…..

All the power goes out. As does the music and the lights. Lots of actively from the security personal as they try and find out what’s happened. Modius, the Price of Gary is none too happy about the situation, as he was intending to make an important announcement, which will now have to wait. Until security knows what’s going on, everyone is to stay in the club, which suits most of the partygoers, who carry on feasting on their succulent mortal.

The head of security, a mage, as it happens. Finds evidence in the generator room, which suggests that power loss was no accident. It seems that either a mage or magic has been used to age the generator, so that it no longer works.

Various groups of people are getting quite nervous, waiting for the lights and power to come back on and start to have a look around. Smoke is smelt coming from a fire door and upon investigation, it is discovered that a fire has been started outside. As this is one of only two exits out of the club, the other being the main entrance. It is decided that the safest option is to evacuate the club.

Modius, leaves with his entourage. As do many of the other guests. A few people stay behind to have a further look around the club and wait for the police and fire department to turn up. There is a security camera on the fire door, which will hopefully show something when the generator has been repaired. Somehow a repairman has been found to come out tomorrow, New Years Day, to have a look at the problem.

Guests that still want to party have been invited back to Eric’s place to see in the rest of the New Year. Harriet the young owner of the Sigel is among the throng of people heading off to carry on the partying.

After James has done his rounds of the club and made sure everything is secure, he heads off to Eric’s, as he’s Harriet’s protection. When he gets to the house, he notices a suspicious car, whose occupants seem to be taking too much interest in the house. He knocks on the door and asks to speak to Adrian. While the young lady who answered, goes to find him, James waits at the door, all the while keeping an eye on the car.

Adrian gets to the front door and speaks to James. While they are talking he surreptitiously looks at the car, which James mentioned. While they are talking, a few guests start to leave, as it’s getting quite late. James takes this opportunity to have a closer look at the car and Adrian heads back inside to tell the others.

As James gets closer to the car, he gets a better look at the occupants, who all seem quite normal. He ducks behind a hedge as three of the four get out of the car and start heading towards Eric’s house. At which point James shouts a warning to those inside.

The last occupant heads towards the trunk of the car to get something out, but has major difficulties in opening it. While this is going on, one of three heading towards the house, starts turning into a ‘Games Workshop’ Chaos, Spiky, Monster.

A fight ensues, Harriet uses her gun, while Eric, James and the unknown Vampire fight hand-to-hand. A couple of shots also ring out from inside the house, coming from the large window of the Living Room. During the fight, Adrian is able to ascertain that the creature that turned into the monster was indeed a vampire, while the other three seemed to be ghouls.

The chaos, spiky monster is very quickly dealt with, as are two of the ghouls. The reaming ghoul is beating into unconsciousness and left barely alive. As the fight comes to an end, Police sirens are heard. A quick discussion is held as to what should be told to the police, when they arrive. The unconsciousness ghoul and the dead(?) vampire are spirited away into the house to be dealt with later.

Adrian investigates the car and is able to tell that the driver of the car, now unconsciousness and in the house. Stole the car only yesterday and had never seen the others until that very evening. He met them in a disused warehouse somewhere and was told to go to the club and then on to the house. Before any more can be found, the police turn up.

When the police arrive. They are told that two men came out of the car and started threatening Harriet. When Eric and Adrian came out to see what was going on, they opened fire. In response they were shot at and killed. After a long chat with the Police, Adrian is able to convince them, that they will come to the police station later on in the afternoon, and give their statements, as the ordeal has been quite traumatic, especially for Harriet.

As it’s getting close to sunrise, everyone, bar James decides stays at Eric’s and arrange to meet up the next night at the club.

James meets with the repairman and after paying a lot of money, the new generator is up and running. Later that evening, after stopping off at the police station to give their statements everyone gets to the club, to start the interrogation.

As the power is now working, the footage from the security camera is reviewed. The only thing of note is a shadowy figure seemingly going though the door. But no features are discernable.

The interrogation of the driver confirms what Adrian found out the night before. During the interrogation of the vampire, which doesn’t go too well, various people get a feeling that they’re being watched. Upon further investigation, it seems that Modius, has someone keeping an eye and ear open for him.  After last nights attack, He obviously doesn’t trust anyone. The Vampire a Nosferatu, Alexander Danov, confirms that the vampire being interrogated is an Anarch, and that they usually work in pairs. So there should be another one out there?

A quick call to the Prince, to see what’s to be done with the vampire, gets the response. "Find out who’s behind this attack and then get ride of him, anyway you want!"

Just as the questioning resumes, it suddenly goes dark. Only Adrian, James and Modius’s spy can see this new assailant, as this time its not a power loss that’s made the lights go out, but a vampiric power. Looks like they do work in pairs, after all. After a couple of near misses, the new vampire is finally staked.

Back to the questioning and finally some answers are forthcoming. It seems that Lodin, Prince of Chicago, was indeed behind that attack on the club and the attack at Eric’s home. Why Lodin is doing this is unknown.

Another call is made to Modius, and after a long drawn out conversation. It seems he wants the Anarchs in Chicago incited against Lodin. And still there are two Vampires to be dealt with.
