Salute 2007

 

Salute was a great success for us.  We ran three games on the Giant Settlers board and everyone had fun.  A number of  pictures were taken at this years Salute and you can see them below.

Shadow Warriors are proud to announce that we will be running Settlers of Catan at Salute 2007, at the ExCel venue in London (just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge) on Saturday 21st April 2007.  For more details click on the link above.

 

The Settlers of Catan boardgame on a truly epic scale, with a huge 3D map and sculpted buildings as seen at GenCon & Dragonmeet. We will be running games throughout the day and as soon we have 4 players, the game will start. The next game will start approx 2 hours later. Sign Up sheets will be available on the day.

 

What is Settlers of Catan?
Die Siedler Von Catan (Settlers of Catan) is the classic board game of colonisation, which won the German game of the year 1995.  Expand your colony to conquer the island of Catan, through the building of settlements, roads, and villages by harvesting commodities from the land around you. Trade sheep, lumber, bricks and grain for a settlement, bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other combinations for more advanced buildings, services and special cards. Trade with other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination of roads, settlements, and special cards wins.

Number of Players: Four.

Rules: Some experience of the game/rules would be useful, but we are quite happy to teach novices the game.

Time:  Throughout the day. 

Duration: 90 minutes to 2 hours.
