Gen Con 2004
14th - 17th October 2004
at the Butlins resort at Minehead.

Well I've finally got around to uploading some of the pictures we took at Gen Con last year in Minehead.  They bring back fond memories of little sleep, lots to drink and a bloody cold tent.

While running one of the Formula De tournaments, we got chatting  to a number of members of a role players club, The Great Escapeisum, from Newport, Wales.  They regularly played Formula De back home and wanted to challenged us.  So we set up a 10 player race (5 from each country) using the Interagos track from Brasil and utilising the standard Formula One scoring system (10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). After a tense start and a couple of crashes on the same corner, we were able to wipe the floor of the Welsh.

The final score, Shadow Warriors 26 Wales 5. Many thanks to Steve and his fellow gamers.  Here's to a rematch at this year's Gen Con.
