The First race of the new season was held in South Africa, at the Kyalami circuit on Sunday 27th July 2003. Due to a number of logistical problems only 5 racers were available, but the race still went ahead.
(1) Baron Von Richthoven
(2) Spike
(3) Rio Phoenix(4) Dino Lishon
(5) Phil McCavity - Stalled on the grid
As it was a lovely sunny day, with no possibility of the weather changing, all competitors went for Soft tyres.
After some spirited driving from Rio Phoenix, his bodywork finally gave up in the 7th turn and Rio crashed out of the race. Dino Lishon only lasted until the 9th turn, when his bodywork also gave up, after a close call with Spike, who was trying to over take him.
Both Dino and Rio made official complaints against Spike. Dino lodged a complaint against Spike for dangerous driving, while Rio complaint was less specific.
In the end it was a comfortable win for Spike, who once in the lead never looked like losing it. While Spike was driving a boring, but risk free race, the real excitement was the battle behind him for second place. This battle was between Baron Von Richthoven and Phil McCavity. Phil had a number of chances to catch up after a fantastic pit stop (coming into the second lap), where his pit crew excelled themselves, but alas it was to no avail.
We are still awaiting the results of the complaints lodged against Spike of Citadel.
** The complaints against Spike have not been upheld and the results are as follows; **
1st
Spike. Lap 1 - 15 turns. Lap 2 - 16 turns.
2nd Baron Von Richthoven. Lap 1 - 17 turns. Lap 2

3rd Phil McCaviy. Lap 1 - 19 turns. Lap 2 - 17
turns.
The second race of the new season was held in Monte Carlo on Saturday 23rd August 2003.
(1) Rio Phoenix
(2) Goldie Locks
(3) Dino Lishon(4) Jonsson Zipp
(5) Baron Von Richthoven(6) Spike
Yet again the heavens opened up on race day at Monaco (as it did last season) and with no possibility of the weather changing, all competitors went for Slicks.
Due to the treacherous conditions a large number of extra pieces of bodywork were hastily welded to the drivers cars, with Jonsson, Spike and the Baron being the most heavily reinforced (which in the end turned out to be the correct choice, for Spike anyway - as the car sustained 3 points of damage to the bodywork, all caused by Goldie). The earlier (innocent) meeting of Dino and Goldie before the race now took on a new light.... Had PoS Racing hired Goldie to take out Spike in revenge for their confrontations in South Africa?

(2) Goldie Locks
(3) Phil McCavity(4) Dino Lishon
(5) Spike(6) Baron Von Richthoven
After the downpour of Monaco, it was back to the sun of Buenos Aires and with a sunny forecast, all competitors went for Soft tyres.
All drivers got off the grid without any major incidents and Jonsson Zipp kept the lead from pole for most of the first lap, but wasn't as clean through the corners as Dino Lishon, who was on fire.
Lishon set a blistering pace on many of the straights, hitting 6th gear a number of times, as well as hitting the corners spot-on. Due to this spirited driving, Lishon was able to take the first lap in 19 turns (ahead of Zipp) and decided not to pit and shot past the starting grid in 6th gear. However in the end Lishon pushed his engine too far and paid the price on turn 24, with a blown engine.
Going into the 2nd lap, Zipp's driving line started to deteriorate and he started to miss a lot more corners. Giving Goldie Locks and Phil McCaviy (who had started behind him on the grid) the perfect opportunity to overtake. While trying to force himself back into the lead, Zipp miscalculated a corner and spun out spectacularly on turn 40. Ensuring that Phil McCavity won his first race of the 2003 season and that Baron Von Richthoven got his 3rd podium finish, behind Goldie Locks.
Again the bitter feud between Dino and Spike almost spilled over into a fight. As Dino accused Spike of sabotage. As Spike had been seen near the PoS Racing pit, before the race. Did Spike, spike Dino's engine? Again the racing authorities will have to look into this.

Race 1 Zandvoort - The Big One! Top
The First race of the new 2006 season was held in Holland, at the Zandvoort (The Big One!) circuit on Sunday 3rd March 2006. BFC Racing were expecting their top driver Jonsson Zipp to get their season of to a flying start. Unfortunately due a accident while picking up supplies, he injured his foot and was unable to race. They are hopeful he will recover in time for the next race meet.
Due to the length of the race, it was decided that 5 points would be added to each car rather then the usual 3. Most drivers deciding that extra fuel and engine would be useful to the large number of long fast (Big Blue) straights, as well as Tyres and Brakes.
(1) Dino Lishon - Flying start
(2) Rio Phoenix
(3) Goldie Locks(4) Phil McCavity
(5) Spike - Stalled on the gridThe forecast for was changeable weather. Alba Racing and Private Team went for Softs. PoS Racing looked at the weather and at first went for Slicks, but then at the last moment decided to go with Softs, a decision that in hindsight they probably regretted. While Citadel and RGJ Players went for Hard tyres.
The start of the new season was a contrast of starts, as Dino Lishon got off to a flyer from pole, while Spike, at the rear of the grid, got over excited and stalled his engine.
For the early part of the race, the drives pretty much stayed in their starting positions. Though those with softs started to pull ahead of the field. As the drivers approached one of the early long straights, the weather suddenly turned Sunny and those on softs looked to have made the correct choice.
However as the leading pack started into the chicane, the weather turned for the worse and it started to rain. Which made negotiating the chicane lethal…. as everyone had the wrong tyres and started skidding all over the place. Drivers started to swap positions, as they were either able to control their skids, or almost lose total control. Spike slowly started to move up, while Dino went in the opposite direction.
Their only hope was for the weather to change again, or to get into the pits without further incidence. Unfortunately the weather did turn, but for the worse.
Spike got lucky with a few corners and was able to getting ahead of the pack and into the pits first without sustaining too much damage. Rio Phoenix wasn’t too far behind, with Goldie Lock just ahead of Phil McCavity and Dino Lishon. With no possible change in the weather everyone swapped to Wets.
With everyone now on the correct tyres, it was down to who would make a costly mistake. Spike was able to stay in first place by driving a reasonably risk free second lap. While Goldie Locks pushed his car to the max and was able to come in second, with a very fast second lap. Rio Phoenix spun out as he exited the chicane, but was able to hold onto third place. While Dino Lishon was having real troubles, as he missed most corners and was ultimately unable to catch Phil McCavity who came in Fourth.

A number of complaints were levelled at Rio Phoenix of RGJ Players.
** Update ** The investigation found that while Rio was not actually guilty of any misdoings, some racing practices were highly questionable and he was warned to be more careful in the future. Therefore the results are as follows: ** Update **

Due to a number of complications the race meet had to be switched to Spa. The main reason was due to I. Robot and Jonsson Zipp being unavailable to race, for reasons they were unwilling to discuss. The other reason was to make it easier for the competitors to watch the England game.
