After our success at Dragonmeet 2003 and Dragonmeet 2004, Shadow Warriors are proud to announce that we will again be running events at Dragonmeet 2005, at West London's Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W13, on Saturday 3rd December. Doors open at 10am.
We will be running several events, including Formula De and Settlers of Catan. You can find us in the Great Hall on Tables L11 - L15 located on the Stage.
Formula De: We will run one game (track still to be confirmed) of up to 10 players and are happy to announce that there will be a prize for 1st place, kindly donated by Esdevium Games! Details will be available on the day. This event will be limited to ten places, so please come and find us and sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Rules: No experience required, rules will be taught if necessary.
Time: 11am (or as soon as all places have been filled).
Duration: Approx 3 hours.
Settlers of Catan: After its success at last year's Dragonmeet, Esdevium Games' Giant Settlers of Catan board will be back, run by the Shadow Warriors! We will be running games throughout the day on both the Giant and standard size boards. As soon as a table has filled up, the game will start. The next game will start approx 2 hours later. Sign Up sheets will be available on the day.
Rules: Some experience of the game/rules would be useful, but we are quite happy to teach novices the game.
Time: Throughout the day.
Duration: Approx 2 hours.

De  The goal of Formula De is simple. Be the first driver to cross the finish line.
Accelerating around the racetrack is even simpler. You roll a die for each gear. The higher the gear, the larger the die used and the farther you travel. Sounds easy, right? But there's a catch! You must conserve your tires, fuel and engine, and above all, use skilful driving techniques to negotiate the corners and the other racers. Push any one of these over the limit, and you will crash out of the race. Get them all just right, and you will be on the winners' podium! Blasting through a corner in 6th gear? Don't worry, you can make it as long as you don't roll a maximum! |

Siedler Von Catan (Settlers of Catan), the classic board game from
Kosmos. Expand your colony to conquer the island of Catan, through
the building of settlements, roads, and villages by harvesting commodities
from the land around you. Trade sheep, lumber, bricks and grain for a
settlement, bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other
combinations for more advanced buildings, services and special cards.
Trade with other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might
lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination of roads,
settlements, and special cards wins. English rules available. German game of
