This campaign is based in Arkham, Massachusetts, United States of America and started in May 1928.

Our Hero's are:

David Harrington:
David is the Burser of the Department of Archaeology for the School of History & the Social Sciences at Miskatonic University.  He was hired by Dr Morgan (Chairman) to help him establish rigorous methods and standards for all archaeological digs.  David lives with his wife, Emily, & 2 dogs in Uptown Arkham, in a large Victorian 3 story house. On the same block also lives William (Forsyth).

On the Western block, lives John (Smith) & Dr. & Mrs. Henry Armitage, the University Library’s director and good friends of the Harringtons.

Dr. Jane Marple:
Jane is a Professor & Lecturer in the Department of Archaeology for the School of History & the Social Sciences at Miskatonic University.  She is one of two fulltime members of the department, the other is Dr Morgan, the chairman & Jane's boss. There are numerous part-timers, including David Harrington.

Jane lives on Campus in the Dorothy Upman Hall (the woman’s dorm).

Dr. Charlotte "Charlie" Hurst:
Charlie is a Professor & Lecturer in the Department of Astronomer for the School of Natural Sciences at Miskatonic University. She is one of two fulltime astronomer's in the department, the other is Dr. Morris Billings (the founder of the Arkham Astronomical Society). The department owns a well-mounted eight-inch reflector that is housed in the athletic field house. 

Charlie lives on Campus in the Dorothy Upman Hall (the woman’s dorm).

John Smith:
John is a Dilettante & Traveler. His family is very rich and able to finance his "lifestyle".  He lives in Uptown Arkham, in a large Victorian 3 story house. The block consist of larger middle-class property-owners and professional. Some old Arkham families still live in the area.

On the Eastern block lives David (Harrington) and William (Forsyth).

William Forsyth IV:
William is a Professor & Lecturer in the Department of Ancient History for the School of History & the Social Sciences at Miskatonic University. He is also a renowned expert on the Occult.  He knows both David (Harrington) & Jane (Marple), as they work in the same building, though in different departments.  William live in a large Victorian 3 story house, with a basement (which has been converted into a library). On the same block also lives David Harrington & his wife, who William knew from Oxford (England) and who suggested him for the job at the University.

On the Western block, lives John (Smith).

Jack "Shotgun" McGurn:
Runs a Speakeasy in the Northside of Arkham. He employs Sam the Doorman & Dan the Bartender. Small jazz bands play on Friday & Saturday nights.

Jack lives in Uptown Arkham.

Their adventures include:

A Little Knowledge: Wherein a violent and mysterious death intrudes upon the peaceful atmosphere of the Miskatonic campus, prompting our heroes to take a hand and solve the crime.

A Painted Smile: Wherein old vows well-intentioned return to haunt our hero's, threatening them with child-like perils.

Fade to Grey: Wherein the mystery of missing children solved leads to a nightmarish but artful revenge.

European Vacation: Wherein the hero's enjoy a relaxing and luxurious cruise, but soon learn that everything they see may not be real.
