players):
[top]
Slot 3: Thursday 2pm - 6pm
Slot 9: Saturday 2pm - 6pm
Egypt 1936 - a lone survivor of the Harrington-Falken international archaeological expedition staggers out of the desert, telling a tale of treachery, madness and murder. As the unconscious American lies in his sick-bed, international tensions rise, with each country blaming the other for the disappearance of their 'best and brightest'. Angry telegrams fly between London and Paris, the Italian fleet sorties, steaming at full speed for Alexandria, and Zeppelins are dispatched from their base at Wilhelmshaven. The players are cast into this diplomatic maelstrom, on a mission of mercy. Can they discover the fate of Penny Harrington? Will they fall prey to the secret that tore apart the previous expedition?
What really lies under the desert sands? Is it worth killing for? Or dying for ...?

The Proposition - (4-6 Cornered Souls):
[top]
Slot 6: Friday 2pm - 6pm
Sometimes you don’t have a choice. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do: it’s not about who’s right, it’s not about what’s right, it’s just about what you have to do. Salvaging some sense of order for your life is all you can think about right now. Those you love are counting on you. This may be the strangest bunch of people you’ve ever got together with, but you’re all in this together, and that makes you powerful allies. You may not have a choice in what you are about to do, but you will be one of the few that determines how it all ends.
1880 Cthulhu scenario, 4 - 6 Investigators required: pre-gen characters supplied.
(All levels of Cthulhu experience welcome, including none!)

Recent exploits have left you well stocked with treasure: a bright few months lay ahead. Captain Calico Jack reveals he has a treasure map that could be the pay day to end all pay days - a treasure gathered by your Pirate rival Captain Howell Davis: his loss, your gain. Presented with a haul this easy to steal, it would be churlish to refuse.

Ice Station Tsathoggua
(4-6
players):
[top]
Slot 5: Friday 9am - 1pm
Antarctic Research Station Admundsen has gone off the air, and yesterday's overflight showed signs of a fire. You've been chosen as part of an emergency rescue team to locate, aid and evacuate any survivors. There's a storm front coming in, so you'll have to be quick, but for old Antarctic hands like yourselves, that shouldn't be a problem.
After all, what could go wrong, thousands of miles from civilisation, in sub-zero temperatures with five other people you've hardly met in an aircraft barely able to make it there and back? Piece of cake....
Ice Station Tsathoggua is a Moden Cthulhu scenario for 6 players. Pre
generated characters supplied.
Please Note that we ran this adventure at Conception 2008 and is
for Mature minded gamers only.
Charlie Don’t Surf
(4-6 Grunts):
[top]
Slot 9: Saturday 2pm - 6pm
May 10th 1969, the A Shau Valley near Hue, it’s been quiet... too quiet... the air is thick with the expectation of an attack from Charlie in response to operation Apache Snow. You and the remains of your squad from the 101st Airborne are out on deep recon, trying to get back to your base at Hill 937: ‘Hamburger Hill’. You come across two abandoned vill’s. Scouting the area you find something that changes your world. Makes you think that Charlie may be the least of your worries...
1969 Cthulhu scenario, 4-6 Investigators required: characters supplied.
(Any level of Cthulhu experience welcome.)
Please Note that we ran this adventure at Shadow Con II and
Conception 2007 and is
intended for Mature minded gamers only.
Cthulhu Re-Run:
[top]
Slot 12: Sunday 3pm - 7pm
We will re-run one of the many Cthulhu adventures we have run at Conception in the past, if there is enough interest/players in a particular game.
Duty & Honour
The Ghosts of Albuera - (4-6 players):
[top]
Slot 6: Friday 2pm - 6pm
Spain 1811. The war in Spain hangs in the balance, with the fighting swinging first one way and then the next. After a bloodily inconclusive battle at Albuera, the British army is besieging the fortress of Badajoz. Taken from their back-breaking work digging trenches in the fierce Summer sun, the survivors of the 2nd battalion, 57th Regiment of Foot are sent on a vital rescue mission. The son of Lord Cranmore was lost at Albuera and was feared dead, but Spanish guerrillas claim to have seen a British gentleman answering his description riding through the battlefield at night. Apparently lost, he vanishes into the night when approached.
The PCs must return to the battle site and find this elusive soldier, and return him to his father.
4 - 6 players required: pre-gen characters supplied.
(All levels of experience welcome)
SLA Industries
Out From The Inside - (4-5 Operatives - 1
Squad):
[top]
Slot 4: Thursday 7pm - 11pm
The World of Progress is an expensive place to live if you want to live well. You have lived well and paid the price. Not all your fault of course: SLA has a way of getting you hooked, reeling you in and skinning you of every last credit. Keeping you in debt is the best way to ensure you take the next job they offer, no matter how mundane or insane it turns out to be. But here it is, a way out. What Operatives call a ‘one-er’: one job and out. Jobs like these are rarer than Mr Slayer’s hats. And they are never what they seem. But you know all this. Going in with eyes open gives you a chance to come out the other side. So here it is. This is the one. A one of squad, each of you as desperate as the other. A one off job and a one off opportunity. Get it right and you’ll be out from under the heel of SLA for the rest of your days. Get it wrong and it really wont matter what happens after: with any luck you’ll be too dead to notice.
4 - 5 Operatives required: pre-gen characters supplied.
(All levels of SLA Industries experience welcome, including none!)
Please Note that this game is for Mature minded gamers
only.
