- Should we hold a convention to celebrate 20 years of gaming or celebrate some other way?

6. Conventions.
- TimCon 01 - Assuming it is a success, what can we learn from running a mini convention?
- Open Day - The Community Centre is going to have an Open Day on 26th June 2004. What are we going to do at this
event to encourage new members?
- GenCon 04 - Is in October at Minehead this year, at the Butlins Holiday Camp. Who is going and events can we do?
- Convention Sub-Committee - What do we do, as it hasn't worked as we hoped?
7. How to get new members.
- An open discussion on how we can recruit more members, where to advertise, how to advertise etc:
8. General running of the Club.
- The move to Sundays has helped the club ensure that it's finances are more secure. However, Sunday meetings have had an effect
on the social aspect of the club as people go home for Monday. The Committee is seeking views to redress this balance and
comments are welcome. This does not mean we would return completely to Saturday meetings.
- The club pays for the rooms from 1pm till 7pm, though games have not started till later thereby reducing gaming time. We are
unable to change the times with the Centre as they are set. If people are going to be late then others need to know to amend
their own attendance, we pay for 6 hours and should use the time to the best. People to put notice on list (Yahoo Groups) if
running late or if the GM anticipates running late, comments.
- Good notice by all should a game not be running or when a game needs to be cancelled by the GM. How do people keep up to
date with news; home or work? Need better communication. How best can we achieve this? Comments.
- Could we use the club phone more? If so how?
- Getting a balance between the club and other commitments; conventions, football, spouse etc. Is this due to an ageing club?
Do
we need more members to give balance? Comments.
9. Review on current RPG's and future games.
- What to do with the board games slot?
- Frequency of games. Do we stick with a 3 week turn around. Have a floating week etc.
- Variety of games. Do we run more games more often and move away from campaigns, is it easy for people to join part way through?
10. Contributions and suggestions on the Website.
- An open discussion on what is missing form the website how it can be improved etc.
11. Election of Officers and Conventions Sub-Committee.
- None of the current Officers have asked to stand down, so it is assumed they will be retained in their current positions.
- The Sub-Committee - Depending on what's decided new elections may take place.
12. SWWD.
- An update on Shadow Warriors progress on taking over the world.
